Goodbye & Hello.

This week is an emotional one. Full of sad goodbye's and happy new hello's too. The week began rough with saying goodbye to one of my sister's and really the whole entire Chicken Family's most beloved pups. Micha got her wings Monday evening after 9 amazing years and battling cancer. I'll never forget going with Mother Hen to pick her out and she rode home on my lap. Micha was probably the best surprise gift my sister ever has received. She will be dearly missed-- as I said before she was so special to not only my sis but the whole family. She was and always will be a part of our family.
(Micha on Right)

The other bittersweet goodbye comes later this week with the final sale of Turkey Tom and I's very first place we called home. We became a married couple while living here, remodeled a bit and poured our hearts into shaping this ole house into a “home”, welcomed our first pup, Dixie here...

and most importantly we brought our first baby home to this house.

So much of our early adult lives has happened here. Moments and memories that will never leave us. While it is SO BEYOND exciting to move on to a new place to call home its like leaving a piece of our hearts behind as well.
While Mother Hen has the Nugget for the rest of the week, we will box up what hasn't been yet, and sign the rest away at closing.

Goodbye HOME.

Hello new House...You will eventually feel like home and hold your very own special moments for us. We are excited to get to know you.
