A New Challenge.

I'm going to * TRY * something new. This is for me and for you. I love my monthly goals so much that I wanted to sort of expand on them but with a twist. So, in addition to those goals, I'm planning to begin posting (at the end of each week) a goal for the weekend. But most of these weekend goals will be more geared towards my artsy-fartsy side. After some recent discussions with Chicken Strips (my sister-n-law) and another great friend about creativity, crafting, inspiration, and just plain ole DOING...I thought it would be fun to try something like a weekly goal surrounding these topics. Creativity sort of breeds creativity. The more you do, the more you want to do. It's an Adrenaline rush. We all get in our funks and ruts and get stuck with no inspiration for fun projects so I'm HOPING this will help me keep a steady flow and also help motivate you all too! I'm going to do my best to follow up how I accomplished the last posted challenge and I hope you all follow along and do it too—even if its in our own way! I do have to say, though, that I'm just like everyone else and sometimes life gets in the way and things don't get done...so I'm sure I will hit weekends where I have to sacrifice crossing things off my to-do list and this might occasionally be one of those things...but this is all just for FUN!

Chicken Scratch Challenge #1

Have some FUN with my camera.

I, like most people, get lazy and take all those everyday shots with my iphone instead of my amazing Nikon. I LOVE the photos about a gazillion times more with my Nikon because its simply way better quality. Plus, its a fun camera to use. I'm not a professional and have had no formal training but I absolutely love to spend time using my camera and capturing special moments.

I hope you all will play along and maybe this will spark or reignite an interest.

To those of you who don't have your dream camera or don't even want to really dive into that realm I just encourage you to not forget to take some fun photos over the weekend of what you are doing. You never know what you will end up with and what could possibly turn into something amazing to frame for your home, or even just the background on your phone!
