Green Bean Delivery + Promo Code!

When Green Bean Delivery contacted me about reviewing a bin for them it was a total NO BRAINER and such an exciting opportunity considering we had been (happy) customers through two winters in the past!! We LOVE green bean. And, just to explain…we usually suspend our membership through summer time to take advantage of growing our own garden and to support our town's famers market. But, during the winter we love nothing more than our Green Bean Delivery service. As a Mama of two, can you blame me for loving to have my produce delivered right to my door step every week?? hello! This is mega time and energy shaved off my grocery shopping with two littles tagging along! PLUS its locally grown (and if you know me at all- you know I'm a HUGE believer in shopping local!), fresh, and organic.

They deliver right to your doorstep in an insulated bin with ice packs so there is no concerns to be had about your food sitting outside.

Along with a weekly email that allows you opportunity to customize your bin (should you not want something they have scheduled to come you can opt out and replace with another item!) You ALSO get your Bean Weekly email which has amazing recipes and meal ideas!

One of the things we have always loved about getting our bins is the opportunity to get new produce that we don't usually buy ourselves at the store. As the cook of our family, I love this in the sense that it gives me a reason to search for a new recipe and try something new (don't we all get stuck in ruts of making the same meals???) …but, I love it also as the consumer and as a Mother. Its opportunity to expand my palette and my childrens' as well.
... Learning to love new things!

This last week I sautéed green beans for the side and added cherry tomatoes to my traditional vodka pasta dish.

And over the weekend I tried a new/made up recipe using my fresh items. I created a "Stuffed Squash" sort of dish for the family!!! I love trying something new and seeing what is a hit with the kids and the husband! This particular dish allowed me to use the squash, tomatoes, green peppers, and corn from this last weeks bin….and a bonus was getting to throw in chopped okra from our own garden!! (For those of you who are interested, I additionally had browned italian sausage, great northern beans in this dish…and obviously topped it with cheese.
There wasn't much left on anyone's plate!!

Now, I ask you…who seriously doesn't want groceries delivered to their door each week?? I hope you all will check out the Green Bean Delivery website and see if they deliver to you. PLEASE reference the image in the beginning of my post for $15 off your first Green Bean bin!!! YAY!
