Tried & True

I may or may not have forgotten to post this yesterday! Woops! ;-) I got a little busy heading with two friends to shop IKEA to help our friend Kelly get a bunch of loot for her babys nursery!! 

I wanted to share 3 new tried and true recipes that I found via Pinterest and one from the 21 Day Fix Extreme recipe book. 
All are SO SO SO GOOD and healthy. When I say these were "so good" I mean even the kids ate with zero fight. I already cant wait to make all these things again.

First was this lettuce wrap chicken fajitas from the 21 Day Fix packet. Honestly, we didnt miss having a tortilla shell one bit. They were still completely satisfying and filling. This is a MUST TRY!

Second, I made this veggie salad. This one is so up my alley. Feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, avacado. I took one look at this photo on Pinterest and my mouth watered. It was every bit as good as it looks! This would make a perfect side to any meal or even better yet the perfect thing to take to a  grill out with friends/family. Incredibly easy and fast to make.

Last, was this dessert or snack. I dont bake much or make dessert hardly ever... Unless icecream counts. LOL! But I saw this and I just knew this would be a huge hit for the whole family. Literally the kids ate this all evening and then woke up the next day asking for it again! Again, perfect family snack or carry out dish to a get together!! YUM!

There are so many recipes out there on Pinterest and various cookbooks and I always like knowing from other people when something is 100% worth trying! These three are definitely worth recommending ;-)
