Fall Fashion Report

After today we are heading into the heavenly 70's and is giving me all the heart eyes! Fall fashion here we come! I just wanted to do a quick overview of what I'm crushing hard on. Most of this I have owned or plan to purchase. A couple things I doubt I'll make the splurge on but I've been scouring online for knock off versions (like the stella and dot necklace and that bag)...But these are some amazing fall essentials if you are looking for ways to add in some great versatile pieces this year.

Fall Essentials

Madewell long sleeve scoop neck top / American Eagle Outfitters button down top / Madewell white v neck t shirt / Dkny parka / Flying Monkey white stretch jeans / Hue black trousers, $34 / SOREL water proof shoes / Big Buddha white shoulder bag / Stella Dot strand necklace / Stella Dot rhinestone ring / Green hooded vest

Military pieces are still all the rage and if you aren't sporting them yet then you need to! I grabbed this vest and new winter coat this year!! (I hadn't bought a new winter coat in FIVE years y'all!! Last one I bought when I was pregnant with Janae!)

Right now I'm just super duper loving basic white, grey, and black tees and just wearing some really cute gold jewelry which pops so nicely against those solids! Plus they are so easy to layer as we go into fall!

You all already know I've got a thing for baseball tees and these slub knit-vintagey type 3/4 sleeve shirts. This one is sooo cute. It's still a wishlist item for me though.

Plaid is rad. Fo real! Get some. Target has some cute ones which is where I snagged a red plaid already this fall (couldn't find online so I used this one from AE) I'm super drawn to the red plaids this year.

Flares are back and I've already passionately and publicaly embraced their re-emergence. This is such good news. They look so much better on people. I really hope they come back for a good long while. No matter what, I'm rocking them weather in style or not...because they are my personal style and thats all that really matters! #boom

I love my UGG boots (they are 8 yrs old so I'm sorta in the market for new) but since last year I've had ideas about getting some Sorel boots to spice it up a tad. Aren't they fun? And practical!??? Love the red laces! Practical boots like UGGS or these type are the only thing I will spend $100 or more on since they are worn so much but I'm still dying over the price. But my UGGS are really starting to show their age :-(

Leggings. Need I say more??

This bag is so so so so cute. I just don't want to spend $100 on a purse but if it was like 60 she would be mine!

I left off booties but they are everywhere and if you didn't already sport them last year then you MUST this year. They are so cute and go with so much! Are you all trying the tassels this year? I do like some of the tassel action I'm seeing on bags, jackets, shoes etc but I'm not totally sure I want to spend on this trend. This pair in particular I have my eye on but again I'm not very confident that I'll end up buying because I don't like to spend that much on my shoes. But they are so pretty and by my favorite, Jessica Simpson!

What are your fall must haves this year??
